Smile I need info on where to buy .nc files by order...

    Hello all !

I have used my CNC router for making nameplates on funeral stuff and it is simple for me using my Corel x5
and SimplyCam to engrave 2ply vinyl.
I do 2D but now I like to start making wooden buttons for clothing. 25mm to 50mm in diameter. But I need
someone that owns or makes ready made .NC files by order for making buttons as I understand to be 3D.

Help would be vey much appreciated.

Please contact me if you have any ideas...

You need cam software capable of doing what you want. Look at Vectric Aspire or Artcam. I don't know if SimplyCam will do so as I've never used it. The ones I mentioned will work or likely others. If sounds like you are talking about designing/carving a 2 1/2D design on a round flat or dome shaped surface. These programs will do that and produce the gcode/ncode to run on your machine. I know folks use Artcam products for some very intricate stuff including jewelry. Go to their web sites and review the software and what they are capable of doing.
