I put a tool in the wrong location on my carousel and bumped into an already chucked tool. Now my router says tool changer out of position. Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Did you try turning it off, then back on, and re-calibrate?

Also, check if there's a proximity sensor on the carousel that may be damaged.

Thanks Gerry- I tried off/on re calibrate already... no dice. The carousel is stuck between positions and does not know where it is. I tried manual movements it does not turn. I am at a loss.

Scotty, Try sending the carousel home with m code then recalibrate. Also do you have record 220?

The reason I ask is we bought a 220 with a bum drilling unit, we fixed the drill unit now need to find the proper servo pack. Question: Do you have drilling unit? If yes, could you you peek into the cabinet and tell me what your servopack reads. Should be a Yaskawa brand if still stock. Should be the pack that sits at tor right of the four. Scm wants to sell me a brandy new one for big bucks and is being tight lipped about it.

    Thanks Ben
