Friend with a bigger converted mill is selling his and I want it so mine has to go. I've had it listed on CL in a few states in the area for $2000 without the PC. Am I asking to much?

I have literally gotten one low ball offer. Thought it would have done better here in the Northeast. I could try eBay but lately I haven't been having good experiences.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Doesn't sound out of line, but you would probably get more interest with the PC. I sold a converted round column mill a couple years ago on CL for $1500 with PC. One thing I think helped my sale was I had links to videos of the mill in operation and pictures of example parts that I made with it. The videos were m=nothing special, just youtube videos I took with my phone doing some relatively simple milling in aluminum and steel. Videos showed drilling, face milling, pocket milling and circular interpolation in some scrap I had lying around. Like I said, the PC would help the sale. You could just get a cheap outdated desktop and load LinuxCNC (free) on it. I got 5 PC's to run LinuxCNC for free, they just needed hard drives which I had a few older small ones (20GB, 40GB, etc) lying around. I got them from a local company that was upgrading and they were going to pay to scrap them.

The video and pictures sound good. It could reach out to more to people trying to get into cnc if they could see what it can do and see it in action.
