Using 2014 R2 on a Win 8.1 comp. The location of the .ini file isn't the problem. It just simply doesn't work like the manual says.

I've not been around here for a while to answer you before today. Surfcam does as the manual says, but the thing is that the manual haven’t been updated.
As I mentioned in previous post, because the file structure has changed the *.log file you’re looking for is located as the “What’s New” indicates, not as the manual says
Run the postform.* and then with the “Windows Explorer” made a search for the *.log recently created.
Let me tell you that even in my Pc I found it located in an invisible folder: C:\Users\Mariojl\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Progra m Files\SURFCAM 14\SURFCAM2014\Apps\Mpost. ; instead of the C:\Users\public\AppData…
Give it a try, you’ll find it.
