    BMC50 COUNTER WEIGHT CHAIN

Hello everyone, I have an older BMC50 (one of the blue Max 3 386 platform models) and the counter weight chain has stretched some over the years. As it makes a long Z stroke and the head gets
close to the table the chain will POP as the link come over the sprocket. I want to order new chain but am not sure what the correct pitch is for that chain. We have tried to measure it and the readings are all over the place. If anyone might have the info on the chains I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks

    John

If I remember correctly, they are RS50 chains.

And make sure you get new bearings for the sprockets. We had those come apart once.
