We've got a Piranha PJH6040 C02 laser that we recently moved to other premises. We had to remove the tube housing, chiller, pump and extractor to get it through the door. We've reconnected everything as it was and now find that it fires from the test button on the power supply, so the tube is fine, it follows the path of a job from the control panel but does not fire the test laser from the control panel and does not fire the laser for the job either. All wires are connected and the chiller is working correctly it just will not fire from the control panel . Any suggestions as the engineers from the company who supplied the laser a year and a half ago are even stumped at this problem.

Of course we have jobs to start on Monday and so far no working laser to do them on.

Tx for reply These door switch is working. The laser button on the control panel usually fires with the door open but at the moment this does not work.

I am able to send a job to the laser, move the head into position and start the job. The head moves in the path of the job but the laser does not fire. The tube is good as we can fire it from the test button on the power supply and the water flow and water sensor works.

Frustration ...
