hello everybody !

My old miller 's CN system is Autocon 40m ,today the machine does not work normally. The sreen display "coolant motor is overload" message.I dont know how can i do it .

To resolve this problem, I have to check the coolant moter

1. I find the moter is ok.

2.Thermal overload protector (热过载) is OK

3.Ac contactor(KM3) is OK

4.Relay (KA7) is OK

So the problem may be hanppen in SWItCH or IO board node, it is very difficuit to repair without shematic of circuit .
there is four line numbered 80,81,199,100 conected to switch for "man" "stop "auto" function , thes signal line ->keyboard panel->IO board
i dont know these lines standing for ,so i dont know how to repair .
the other question is the number 100 line conect where ?near the spindle switch .

Did you physically check the motor overload relay with a meter, including the alarm circuit through the top of it? Do you have 24volts at the alarm signal on the overload realy?

hi

there is no alarm circuit on overload relay , i have a question ,if no sensor on coolant motor , system how can know overload condition.

No, they are machine specific. I highly doubt there is not an alarm circuit through the overload relay.

I have the same control on a clausing kondia. when I turn my coolant pump on the whole machine is dead cant remember exact fault. I found a 5 amp and 2.5 amp fuse on a board under the main computer replaced the fuses and machine is up and going no problem. I normally use only a mister but accidently turned the coolant motor on via the control and once again whole machine dead.Replaced fuses again don't mess with the coolant switch and been running fine I will investigate further when I get the time
