    2M542 Driver

    Hi there, I am using the 2M542 drivers on my cnc router, up until a week ago they were working fine but now one driver is acting erratically, it is missing steps, won't change direction when asked etc. did any one out there have had the same problems? if so I would be more than glad to hear from you, or if any one has any ideas or solutions as to how to over come the problem I would also like to hear from you.

    The 542 design uses P and N channel mosfets. Looking at the outputs on a scope sometimes it produces rounded squarewaves... not a good design. These have a fairly high failure rate.
