I would use a high speed bearing grease. Kluber and Dow Corning both come to mind.
In fact I think I would use a high speed bearing grease on any spindle rebuild. The typical wheel bearing in a car doesn't turn over 1000 RPM for most of its lifetime. Maybe a compact with 13" wheels that is speeding does. While I am sure that wheel bearing grease or other automotive grease would last for a while, the high speed bearing greases are formulated to run at the much higher speeds.
There is a reason cars run oils in their high speed parts instead of grease. (actually a lot of reasons, but in this context...)
