Hi guys,
I have a vertical lathe that I'm currently retrofitting with a M700V Mitsubishi control. For some reason the HMI program runs at an extremely sluggish speed. Looking at task manager you can see that the HMI program goes in not responding status for long lapses of times every 30 seconds or so.
In summary, for now I:
Quintuple-checked the wiring
Checked that all voltages are OK
Swapped the DX771 unit and DX771 was found to be perfectly working
Removed the DX121 and DX111 Remote I/O units just to check if it could be cause for the slowness
Formatted the RAM
Reloaded the ghost to the HD that I did upon receival of the product
Loaded a ghost from another HD for the same control series, same result
NC unit was tested to work perfectly on another M700V system
Tried swapping G301 LAN cable, same result.
Isolated the NC unit with the DX771 unit, the HD and the screen and PC unit, same result.
Also because of this bug whenever I reload back system data and all, it works unless there is the "not responding" freeze, this causes an error.
I'd like some brainstorming on thoughts of what could be the cause of this to try new ideas.
Thanks.
I guess there's OPI's G018 cable left to try with a swap, else there's only screen & PC unit left unless someone has another ideas...
