    FANUC 10M OKK PCV40 communcation eroor

    Hello,

    I had my machine running today, did a spindle orient and warm up, i went to do a Z home sequence and the control froze.Now i cant get the control to turn on, yet the screen does.

    My master board LED screen shows an "A" which i believe is a communication error ? I'm not sure exactly which one though ???

    Description: MDI Connection Failure.
    Repair: Check fiber optic between cable connection control and MDI/CRT unit.

    We have several times this alarm when have problem with power supplies for equipment on second side of optical cable ( p.s. for I/O unit or p.s. for crt-mdi unit)
