    New to this... having trouble.

I've been trying to draw this and having some issues. I'm trying to put a fillet on the left side where the arc and straight line meet. According to the tutorials I need to merge vectors in order to create a fillet. When I do so it drastically changes the shape of what I'm working with. I've drawn this a couple different times. I was able to get those vectors to merge at one point but then unable to create a fillet in that spot. The other issue I've had is trimming the left half of the circle. The picture of the ring around the door panel is what I'm trying to duplicate. Would be nice to drill and recess those mount holes with the cnc also.

On the left side, draw a circle centered where the two lines intersect, With the radius of the circle the same as the required fillet radius. Trim away the lines inside the circle, and then delete the circle. Select the two vectors, and use the "Join/Close vectors with Smooth radius" tool.

I believe that the "Create Fillets" only works with straight lines.

For the right side, delete the large circle.
Then draw a vector between the two end points of the top and bottom vectors.
Draw a new circle centered on the new vector.
trim the left half of the circle, and delete the connecting vector.

Got the piece drawn then used offset to outside .75 to create a ring then offset from inside vector .375" to create vector to center drill holes then delete .375" offset vector? How do I align the drill holes evenly? If I use the copy object along vectors the placement doesn't really look right. Am I better off manually drawing vertical lines to find center points for holes? If I draw a line vertical line center of right circle and a vertical line where I want the pilot hole on the far left how can I center a line between those two for my other two pilot holes? Secondly if i want to drill a pilot hole all the way thru the material then a .25" hole recessed .25" so the head of the screw can sit flush do I need to create a second layer for this?

How do I align the drill holes evenly?
If you want them equally spaced, here's how I'd do it. Select the profile vector, and go into node edit mode. Notice one of the nodes is green. The green node is the Start Point. You need to have the start point at the left end, in the corner. You can create a new point there by hovering the cursor over the vector and pressing the "i" key. Then right click on it and make it the Start Point.
Now, draw your first hole on the start point, and then use copy along vectors, and you'll get equal spacing that should look right. If it doesn't look right, then yes, you'll need to place them manually. You don't need to delete the path vector, but you can if you want. You can also place it on a separate layer and turn it off. It's up to you. Toolpaths are only created for selected vectors, so if you don't select it. it won't be used for anything.

Secondly if i want to drill a pilot hole all the way thru the material then a .25" hole recessed .25" so the head of the screw can sit flush do I need to create a second layer for this?
There are several ways to do it. You can just use the single set of holes, and create drilling toolpaths for two different drills using the same holes.
You can also draw the holes the size of the counterbore, and use a pocket toolpath for the counterbore, and a drill toolpath for the holes. All with one set of circles.
