digitizing software for GRBL/UGS arduino system??

I have a diy arduino based CNC router. It runs GRBL and I send GCode with UGS. Works great. I want to get into cutting foam decking for boats and am hoping some of you may suggest a way to digitize patterns using my set up. Do I need additional software to do this? Hardware?
    What would you suggest?
    Thanks

Re: digitizing software for GRBL/UGS arduino system??

I would love to have this feature also. Seems like bCNC is the best way but its usually only for levelling surfaces. For advanced scripts that probe not just in the z direction, might have to look at Mach3/4. Depending on your shape bCNC should work. There's also grbl-plotter height scan and also UltimateCNC Autolevel.
