We plan to switch to NX 7.x / 8.x. Can we continue to use the postprocessors from NX3 or do we have to create them again?

Hello
You should get the PP checked. Without adjustments they probably won’t work.
But it’s not necessary to create them again (unless you had the PP still in the old format... until V16)

In general we only guarantee the ability of a PP to run for the version for which it’s written.
When you have an update, one always has to test with example programs if the PP are still running fine.
When changing versions (more than 5 versions) it’s very likely that the PP are not optimal. Only for the many new possibilities that the new NX version contains a new PP adjustment can be more than useful as these new features are not considered in the old PP..
