suggestions for a book on progamming basics

Hello fellow machinist, Im not new to the manual lathe metalworking but completely new to cnc and the proramming that goes with it. I had one day of training and a lot of reading and self taught days, but I want to learn more than just basic turning and drilling codes. Curious to see if anyone can recomment a book or two that go into details on the codes (i.e G,M,I, U..etc) better than the manuals provided with the machine and more user friendly. Between the books for fanuc controls and the book provided by the manufactur of the machine, I get different discriptions. Thanks people!!!

    Cool CNC Book

The CNC Workshop by Nanfara,Uccello&Murphy Good basics and more mill than lathe but will help you understand then move on to peter smid's book's
Also seven easy step's to CNC Programing book one and two but for starting out my money's on the CNC workshop a lot simpler than any of the factory manuals seem's like the Fanuc manuals are writen in martin sometimes

    Good Luck Kevin
