    T-Slot nuts for Taig!

Hey, I happened upon a clever trick the other day. I had sitting around some economy and drop-in 1/4-20 t-nuts from 8020 (the extrusion guys). Turns out these work perfectly on my Taig mill. I used a 1/4-20 stud in the t-nut and then put a nut and washer on top of the work-piece. These t-nuts are cheap, and it worked like a charm!

The nuts are especially easy to make yourself too. I got a foot of aluminum square and cut out about 15 of them on my own. It's even easier if you have CNC'd your TAIG because then you can make sure you don't drill all the way through the t-nuts (this prevents you from screwing all the way through the nut and damaging the t-slot on the table).
