    Hi

I have to turn around 300 Impra insert nuts into aluminium.
I wanted to ask if this is also possible on a milling machine?
Impra nut inside M8 outside M12x1,5, 15mm long.

I usually do it on a drilling machine. I have clamped a piece of the threaded rod into the drill chucks, then I adjust a nut that I then use to counter the insert nut that I have adjusted beforehand.
Then turn it in and stop. Loosen counter nut and turn the threaded rod out with the left-hand motion.
Is it possible to write a program with a STOP to loosen the counter nuts?

Machine Mikron WF 32C with TNC 425 and spindle orientation.

Thread cycle won’t work because it stays down.

    Kind regards

I don’t know the Impra insert nuts.
We only turned Ensat insert nuts so far. For them, there is a special insertion tool.
In the left-hand motion, the locking loosens without assistance due to the construction.
Like that, it's possible to turn all nuts with the desired depth.

Maybe there is an insertion tool for impra insert nuts.
