Hello at all,

I am working with a 426C and I've got a question:

could I save the actual position where my tool standsat the controller in this program in a Q-parameter -
so that I am able to calculate with this Q-parameter for the next position???

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,

yes, that works with the following commands:

FN18: SYSREAD Q1 = ID270 NR1 IDX 1 <- read out actual X-position, data will be saved as Q1
FN18: SYSREAD Q2 = ID270 NR1 IDX 2 <- read out actual Y-position, data will be saved as Q2
FN18: SYSREAD Q3 = ID270 NR1 IDX 3 <- read out actual Z-position, data will be saved as Q3

You'll find these commands at Q-parameter-functions - just search...
Let there be rock!
