    Hi CNC community,
I want to write an own M function that allows me to stop a program without opening the door, turning the spindle off or stopping the cooling water.
The aim is to simplify the run in of program parts for example to perform a work step with the pivoted machine.
Afterwards the machine stops to control that nothing went wrong when pivoting and so on…
That’s why I want to keep the engine speed and the cooling how it is.
How can you find out if NC start was pressed or not?
    Control system is an iTNC530
Maybe somebody has an idea how to implement this proposition.

    See you soon

    Hello,
M1- you can select it or deselect it also deliberately in the task menu…..

    Hi Matz
When pressing M1 and M0, the spindle and the cooling water turn off.
When asking Heidenhain, they said that’s a matter of PLC and I would need to ask the machine manufacturer. I could also remove it like this "/ M0". If I change the machine parameter then Mo and M1 are changed likewise.

    Talk to you soon
