I need your help!
I have EMCO CNC turning machine E65 with Siemens controller 810D
There’s a barrier around of the tailstock that I can’t change. The max. path is set to 535mm, but I need more because I have to drill inside, I get the 10720 error: software limit switch. I’d like to know where I can change the value 535mm. There must be a parameter where the value can be set. I need your help!

Hello Votec2006,
You describe a turning machine, so have not ShopMill, but ShopTurn (wrong forum category, but never mind).
The software limit switch is a machine data that limit the maximal path of an axis. It means that you don’t have any space beyond the limit switch!!! Your Z-axis has reached its end. If you want to go on, there comes the hardware limit switch (only a few millimetre)
Ask Emco now much place you have beyond the software limit switch.
