    Problem using tabs

First of all, I would like to say that I really like Sheetcam and its ease of function. Well worth the price. I can create a profile around my part to cut it out, including tabs to hold it in place. My problem is this: I want to cut out the part with tabs using a succession of increasingly deep passes, with a small finishing offset, and then run a second process at full depth and with zero offset, to get a nice finish. Whenever I run this second process, the tabs are ignored. I don't think I have a layer problem as the profile of the part is a layer defined in Sheetcam and it is the same profile being cut on each of the two processes.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

    Thanks!

Post this on the SheetCAM group on Yahoo. Les (the author) monitors that pretty close. He is in the UK so it's after midnight there. He also has is own support forum but I keep forgetting the address. I use tabs all the time but its on a single pass cut.

Tabs only apply to the process they are defined on. If you set up tabs on your first cut they won't affect any other cut. You need to copy the tabs onto the second cut. If you have V3.1.17 or later there is a function to copy tabs between processes. If not I would suggest installing the latest development version. The development version is pretty stable at the moment and will soon become the new V4.0.0.

Make sure the second cut process is highlighted by clicking on it. Make sure you are in tabs mode then right click on the toolpath display and select copy from.
