    Hello

    I created a 3d spiral surface [attachment=4314:Spiralblech.jpg] with help of coordinate curves (x,y,z) ([attachment=4315:Spirale1.txt],[attachment=4316:Spirale
    2.txt])
This spiral ha to be made from steelplate. Therefore I have to bring the spiral into a level in Solid Edge. But I can’t do it. The simple view from above doesn’t reproduce the real dimensions of the spiral surface because of the 3d-form, (does it?)
I hope someone has experienced a similar problem and can help me.

    Hello
If it doesn’t necessary have to be in Solid Edge… here’s the blank as DXF (made in AutoCAD2000 or BricsCAD V9)
    Good luck!

Thanks for your reply! I calculated plane coordinate curves and drew on.
