    revo 540 c toolpaths

does any body use a Revo 540 c
can somebody explain to me what prepass resolution means
    or prepass offset
    or prepass tip corr,(presumably correction)
the standard tool paths are to fine for some purposes making toolpaths that are too large
i am trying to add larger tools a 1mm ball nose to the custom library and would like to know how these settings affect my tool-paths
and i would like to add a 2mm ball-nose as well for roughing
so far i have hijacked the end mill settings and reduced the tip dia to fool it into thinking it has a ball-nose instead of an end mill
but when i create the paths i get enormous plunge path distances (at least that's what they look like )
