    Hello guys
I hope I am in the right place here

We have to mill a TR thread 26 x 5 both-sided into an overlong spindle.
    Has anybody done that before?
If yes, what tool did you use....?

I appreciate any kind of help...

    Hello

Your information is quite poor in order to help you out!

    • Is the thread an internal/external thread?
    • How long should it be?
    • What machine are available?
    • What controller (and version) have you got?

Without knowing anything I would say with a turning machine with powered tools...

    Morning
    1.Internal thread
    2. 61mm deep continuous
3.+4. Processed on a boring machine
    With Heidenhain iTNC 530

The spindles are 920mm ling and for our turning machine too long as the spindle would look out about 220mm and we don’t have a steady rest

    Regards
