    gcode for diagonal movement??

    hi, i am amking 2 axis cnc machine ....i need to know that if i want diagonal movement (i.e between x and y axis) then what should be the gcode for this.....like we have G00 and G01 for linear motion...so ids there any gcode for diagonal motion ? if not then how can i achieve diagonal motion?
    plz help me out...

    G1 X5 Y5 >>>> This will move at 45°
