Looking for owner of a MornTech Laser MT-L1290

    Hey there!

I was wondering if anyone here might be the proud owner of a MornTech MT-L1290 laser cutter (36"x48" bed). We're looking to talk with someone in the SF Bay Area or nearby who might be willing to let a couple eager new shop owners see the machine and chat about their experience with the machine.

    Thanks in advance!

We purchased a similar but smaller model from them about a year ago. It works flawless. I purchased it because while not the absolute cheapest out there the company importing them was about 20 miles from me, so I was able to pick it up. The software that comes with it sucks for designing but you can use something else like Corel draw. If you just want to import a pic and laser it's fine. We mostly use it for engraving anodized parts but do occasionally cut cardboard as a jig
