Thought you might want to see my table covers. In running my machine I produce a lot of aluminum chips (65 pounds of them for every 500 part batch).
Digging them out of the T-slots and washing down the machine every night was a pain. Now these covers catch the vast majority and because they are angled you can just brush the chips off the end.

I used inexpensive clear acrylic, solvent welded together.

Use these along with the base stream liner detailed in another thread and swarf cleanup would go much faster.

Those are nice.

I use aluminum cookie sheets. Half size sheets fit perfectly on either side of a 5" vise in the center. I use nylon tape on the bottom so that the sheets can't mar or react to the table.
