    Wow read a few of these, have to say some of the approaches sound like a pain in a***!

    Calculated machining time @ hourly rate that covers wages and expenses + material + handling + programming + tooling if your not in the uk, if you are in the uk then your just mean so goes for 99% of engineering companies here as they are tax deductible items.

    Not exactly rocket science.

    Bill for estimates for cnc work now you will be shooting yourself in the foot with 90% of companies doing it free. Just choose which jobs you draw up quotes for carefully, often asking a time waster a valid question is enough to scare them off without producing a quote.
