Hey guys,

After much research, I believe I have finally decided on what my build is going to consist of. In the interest of going into this knowing exactly what it will cost me, I'm looking for a little help from someone who followed Precision Plasma's plans for their DIY 4x4 table which mounts to their gantry. I already know what everything else is going to cost me, but the cost of materials required to build the 4x4 table and matching water table is currently an unknown for me. I realize steel prices vary, so I'm just looking for a rough number. I'm looking for material cost only as I'll be doing the labor.

FWIW, this is what I'm planning to put together for a complete system. If I'm missing anything, please feel free to chime in and set me straight!

Gantry:
Light Duty HDIY gantry kit with cable track, 4x4 ($2695)

Table / Water Bed:
DIY using Precision Plasma prints, 4x4 ($???)

Electronics:
BladeRunner Dragon-Cut system ($1390)

Software:
Adobe Illustrator (already have a license)
SheetCAM ($185)
Mach3 ($175)

Plasma Cutter:
Hypertherm Powermax 45 (already have)

This puts the build at about $4500 plus the unknown cost of the table and water bed materials. Can someone help me fill in this blank?

Also, if anyone has photos of their DIY base for this setup I'd really like to see them. It would help me visualize how the rails are mounted.

Got it figured out. I was trying to compare the DIY prints provided by Precision Plasma to their fully-built iPlasma tables, but I see now they are different designs.
