    Fanuc 11M: Zero Return

    Hey all,
I have a Kitamura mycenter 2 with fanuc 11M controller. Last week a newbie on nights did a setup for a new part.
The problem is when I home the machine with zero return the values on the Relative and Absolute screens go to x-0 y0. Z doesn't change.
How do I set g54 and part abs 0 to where they won't change when I home the machine.

Older Kitamura's have a small toggle switch called: Manual Absolute. Please turn it on.

    Re: Fanuc 11M: Zero Return

The man abs is turned off and on by parameter. For some reason it was off. So I turned it on. It still changes abs and relative values to zero when I do a zero return. I can do g28 x0-y0 and no values change. This is how the problem started. Took edge finder and picked up part zero. In MDI went to absolute screen. did x0-y0 "preset" soft key. Values on Abs and Relative screen changed to x0-y0. We always took x and y numbers from relative screen and entered it into g54-g59 offset. Using the "preset or origin soft keys cause this? Could it be another parameter?
