Short run (500pcs) poss. laser or waterjet job

Hi, I have a US customer (California) interested in locally sourcing (i.e. US made) a short run of parts (500pcs) per the attached drawing. He's not in the line of business to be able to qualify bids so he's asked me to seek costings. I'd appreciate a PM if you're interested in bidding.

The job's actually ideal for a stamping but the quantity isn't ever likely to justify the tooling expense - but I'd be happy to be proven wrong!

The grade of aluminium alloy isn't critical for this job - it mustn't be dead soft but almost anything else is OK as long as it's specified in your bid.

Also, although 2mm is the preferred thickness, a close match in gauge would be OK. I think 12G is 2.052mm which would be fine.

    Cheers,

    Hi all,

Thank you to those who submitted quotes. I have forwarded the details to my customer who will make direct contact with the company they wish to proceed with.

    The RFQ is now closed.
