    Exclamation BLDC control software

    Hello all,

Is there anyone here skilled in the art of coding preferably for Pic micros, who could help me design firmware for 3 phase BLDC control?

I don't want it done for me I just need a hand getting started & a bit of help along the way.

I can design the hardware without too many probs, it's just the code that leaves me cold.

Why Pic? Well I've got pic design platforms & I'd rather not tool up for another micro.

Any real help would be much appreciated.

Have you by any chance looked at the application notes from PicMicro?

Their site has a few examples I believe.

There are a couple of yahoo groups for motor control. OSMC has a lot of designers on there. The model airplane people have started building their own controllers and motors and there are some open designs. I think one of the yahoo groups groups includes LRK_ which is the initials of some of the first successful hobby motor builders. Freescale, TI, and Analog Devices have info on motor control as well as Microchip.
