    tapping with spindle

    Hello I was hoping, to learn some tips and tricks on how to tap holes in aluminum 6061 plate, With a vfd and spindle.

    Is there any special tooling required... or mach plug in routine etc. If someone knows of a good video please paste the link.

    You can't tap with a router spindle.
    You're only option is to thread mill.
