Dear All,

every thing working for CT40 except the spindle does not work in manual or in auto mode, there is no alarms appears
can any one help to solve that?

Check chuck... (IN or OUT chucking )
Check chuck pressure and pressure sensor....
Check chuck inductive proximity switches (maybe one is not working or both are working or one is defective and always work meassure them with instrument because lamp indication on sensors is not true and real information)

Check Spindle Drive... (does he have BB signal then does it get RF signal)
Check Spindle Motor (brushes, tacho brushes)

Thanks for your reply, regarding the check of chuck , i think if there is something not ok there will be an alarm but i do not got any alarms
i will check the spindle drive, the spindle motor is tacho brushes

Are u trying to clamp/unclamp piece in Jog mode or in MDI with M function? Can u do the main spindle transmission change? (there should be spindle movement in that function to get gearing in alignment )

i can clamp and unclamp the chuck in jog mode and there is 2 proximitys to check the situation of the chuck , when the chuck is not clamped on a work piece an alarm 31 is issued
i do not know the M codes for chuck clamp/unclamp, i tried M10,M11 but it does not work and alarm 20 appears

for main spindle transmission change, i do not know the codes, do you mean gear change code such as M41,M42? i tried that and also does not work and alarm 20 appears

i do not have manuals for that machine
