    Homing Problem

    Running Mach3 V R3.043.066 in Demo Mode

I have a button on my screen calling OEM code 1022 (RefX)
I have configured X++, X-- and X Home Input Signals ENABLED and EMULATED (assigned hotkey to 'X' (88) on keyboard)
The LED's on my screen for X++, X-- and X Home work properly and indicate when I activate the switches.
In my Homing/Limits setup I have set X axis softmax=100, softmin=0, checked Home Neg and Auto Zero - I've tried every combination...

When I press the RefX button, the X axis begins to move towards 0 as expected, but does not stop or reverse when the 'X' key is pressed (siumulating home sensor signal) even though the X Home LED lights..
If I hold the home sensor signal on (hold down the 'X' key), while pressing the RefX button, the axis does NOT start moving.

So it seems like Mach3 is getting the home sensor signal, but for some reason the homing process does not use it.

I am sure I am missing something simple here...
    Thanks for any help!

Do you have the parallel port driver installed?
If not, or if it's a 64 bit OS, then what you're trying to do may not work.

    64 bit OS.
    Is that a bug?

No, Mach3 doesn't work on 64 bit OS's, unless you use an external motion controller.
