Tried ebay and craigslist in the past, with good results. Been poking a bit lately for a CNC lathe, and not finding much. Not spending 30k to make 1.5" parts.

Slower, older machines are fine. Must have an automatic tool changer, no live tooling (can't a afford it), but I dont need more than a few tools in capacity. 4 would likely work for most parts.

Is there some site that is like craigslist for this stuff? The classifieds here havent been very promising either, just nothing in the US.

Sorry dealers, wasting my day driving and calling around to look at machines with no prices is just that, a waste of my time. Even used car dealers have prices to start with.

Look for a Mori Seiki SL-1 with a Yasnac control, they can be had all day for less than 5K
