    V27 install.

I took the plunge and purchased an upgrade from V26 to V27 on Friday and was wondering if the install will wipeout V26. I installed demo copy on a spare computer to try it out but now wan to install it and activate my licence on my cad/cam computer. Will m machine settings, tools and post all migrate? Thanks

V27 will install in its own folder and should have no consequences (to my knowledge) of your V26 installation.

I copied my machine setup directly over to V27's MachSim folder but I don't know if I would recommend doing that. Probably best to start over. Ditto with the tool files unless you hear from BobCAD differently.

If you just purchased, I would call support and ask (then post your answers here )

Sorry for taking so long to get report back, but anyhow I called support and it worked just like you said. Copy the MachSim for my machine and it imports the settings. BobCad also has some videos on there website on importing some of the other stuff like tools and material. Thanks

you can import the tool and holders file ...no problem and no it will not wipe out any other installation of BobCad
