    Reverse?

Just wondering how important reverse is on the spindle of a CNC mill ? Of all the people out there with working mills and mill retrofits, how many times if ever do you have a need to run the spindle in the opposite direction ?

The reason I ask is because my controller will not make this easy for me so I will have to mess arround with relays and such like, though if i'm not likley to need such an option I might as well save some time and money.

    Your thoughts.. ?

Provided you have the vertical clearance to use a tapping head you do not even need reverse for tapping.

Besides, you can't make the mistake of M4 instead of M3(wedge)
