Can someone explain to me what is the difference between Peak Power and Agreement Power.
I bought a 150w Laser and on the tube is says 155w Peak Power and 133 Agreement Power.
Thanks

Dear Oregon
we tested the 150w laser tube before,
and here's one of our testing date,
I guess this table may help you understand the peak power and agreement power:
Attachment 256230
as you can see from the table,
1. laser tube supplier said 35ma is the max current for laser beam of 150w tube,
that means when you set the power rate, it's suggested to set the current below 35ma,
(usually there's an ammeter show you the current while laser working)
28-30ma is the best current for laser beam,
(laser beam quality is the most stable when current is 28-30ma)
2. when we set 100% power rate,
the actual out put power is 150w, (Peak Power)
while it's not suggested,
since the current is more than 35ma at this time.
3. when we set the power rate to 70%,
the current is 28ma (the best current for laser beam)
and as you can see it's 133w actual laser power (as we can say it's Agreement Power)
hope it is clear for you.
enjoy a nice day.

Hi Oregon again
forget to say,
we test many different so called 150watt Chinese laser tubes in the past year.
however, after our testings , i think non of them can be called a 150watt,
some of them can never reach 150watt, and even some of them can reach 150wat
in the beginning, the power will reduce a lot after being used for a very short time(2-3weeks)
thus usually we won't suggest customer buy 150w laser tube.
besides, please forgive my error in last message,
generally speaking,
if you buy 130w laser tube, the Agreement Power should be 130w at least (or higher than 130w),
and Peak Power should be much more higher than 130w (let's say 145w or 150w, etc)
and for a good quality 150w laser tube,
the Agreement Power should be 150w at least (or higher than 150w),
and Peak Power should be much more higher than 150w (let's say 160w, 180w, etc)
good luck.

Thanks for the information.
this knowledge will come in handy
Hi there
Can you explain this to me
I have this laser tube
But as you see
Agreement power is 70watt
Peak power is 60watt
I thought agreement power should be less than peak power
Is that right?
