    Are these steppers ok?

    Hi there i am new here and saw these on ebay. Are the ok for a medium cnc machine?

    They're good if you plan on making your machine out of lightweight cardboard.

    Seriously though, they're way too small. Holding torque is roughly 50 oz-in... you need something 8-12 times bigger for a "medium" sized machine.

    Hi i have just salvaged a:
    Manebea type 23km-k379-g1
    P/N rh7-1339 04
    From an old printer big and heavy looks like the ones i have seen you guys use but it has 6 wires not 4? Its about 56mm cubed, and has no other info.
    Please help.

    saw these on ebay last nite , 5 motors 50 bucks ,they would too small for what i need them for ,
    they would be good for a smaller design 145 oz bipolar
    good deal for someone
