How to test an output module AOR16G - Connection diagram

    Hi,

    I've got a faulty AOR16G Output module.

I've opened it and replaced the relay that I think is the problem.

Is there an easy way of testing these modules? (without fitting them to a M/C)

or does anyone have a circuit board diagram / connection diagram so that I could work it out myself.

    Thanks in advance.

    Stevie

It is not difficult if it is a matter of a damaged relay, this is, if part of the module is working. If I am not mistaken it is a module that have a lot of outputs, grouped with several commons.
The first thing that I would do it to force a exit to turn on (high). A led with the number will appear. If you know that the module it is faulty, then you probably also know the output that it is not working properly.
After that, you can check if the output really got to the desired state with the help of a voltimer, between the respective common and the output. On the small plastic that you must remove to access the outputs you have the output diagram. Most faults are: the relay did not triggered OR the relay got triggered, but when it receives instruction to un trigger it got stuck and the output will act as the controller is still issuing the high command.
