    Cast Iron Pan cnc

Hi cnczoners! This is my first post on this forum and I am hoping someone can push me in the right direction. I am looking for someone to work on a couple of cast iron pans. Both are lodge signature pans that they do not make any more. Basically what I am wanting is for someone to machine down the bottom of the pans baby butt smooth. They aren't family heirlooms and yes it would be cheaper to just buy an old Griswald or Wagner but you know what they say about a fool and his money .

I can email pics if anyone is interested. One of the pans is a grill pan and is the one I am most interested in as I want to convert it to a flat bottom pan. I have looked for several years online and can't find a used one to save my life.

    Thanks for looking guys

Why not just hand grind and sand? Your just looking for smooth, not so much flat, right?

Thanks for the reply cnc123. Smooth and flat is ideal. I thought about grinding it and finishing by hand but I was worried I would end up with low spots in the pan if I didn't do it perfectly. The grill pan has ridges off the bottom about 1/4 inch high. That is the one I most want to grind down smooth.

Hey Joedesu1, hopefully you see this, but your Pm's are full so I can't respond. FYI, from the middle of the pan to the outer handle is about 14". Pm me your address and I will drop in the mail. Thanks!
