hi guys pretty new to camworks, i created a simple piece with some holes some slots and a profile cut, everything in the software looked good to me, but when i cut it the holes were small the slots were small and the profile was off a little, however i brought the model into artcam and when it cut it was dead on. im going to try to take some screenshots tomorrow of my setup but does anyone have any ideas how this could happen.

Not enough info here to even begin.

The only things I can think of are that you inadvertently have some "allowance" value set in Camworks, your endmill is undersize or you have a positive "wear value" compensation set in your machine. Let us know what you find out.

thanks so much harvdog42 i believe i found it. the side allowance was at .03 which i never even noticed til now. i put it to .001 and will recut and see what happens. thanks

ok wait that seems to have fixed the holes and slots however the profile was already set on 0 side allowance. hmmm

How far off was the profile? Could it have just been a cutter comp issue?
