After 10 years’ rapid growth, China’s CNC internal grinding machine tool industry has begun to decrease in the second half of 2011, and the growth slows down. 10 years ago, our industry goal was mid-range growth. Recently, on the 12th China International Machine Tool Exhibition press conference, vice- chairman of China Machinery Industry Federation, Yang Xuetong says, “In 2013, about 2.2% of the machinery industry main income was contributed by machine tool industry, this percentage has not changed for years, which shows that CNC surface grinding machine production’s growth transfers from high-speed to low-speed.

According to the industry, as China crosses from “World Factory” to “World manufacturing center”, the growth factors which lead to high speed development have changed deeply in the past 10 years. Prominent features of machine tool industry reflects in two aspects: obvious decrease of total demand and upgrade of demand structure.

“Overweight high-end” becomes important outlet. The deep transformation and upgrade of machine tool industry seems more urgent.
