    FANUC 6 M err veliocity control

    Dear all!

    My CNC err veliocity control and the led HCAL light up. I read the document and have information that know the IC A76L-0300-0035 err but i can not test this IC how to test it life or die???

    Hcal is high current alarm. Does it do this upon power up or trying to move the axis.

    A76L-0300-0035 - is an analogue galvanic isolator
    and, to my mind, it's the most unreliable thing in a drive
    but from the other hand, did you swap out PCB with another drive?
    may be there is carbon dust on motor's collector, which causes that alarm
