    Heidenhain HR410 pinout and protocol

    Hi
    I have a HR410 handwheel I would like to use on my homebuilt CNC mill.
    I would like to know connector pinout and communication protocol.

    Any information please!!

    I just saw this posting

    I think if you look on the heidenhain website, you will find manuals for most things, and if you find a recent technical or repair manual for a cnc control, it may have the pinout for the handwheel

    I think you may be better off selling it and buying a generic one, and if so I may be interested
