    Haas TM1 control arm articulating

Has anyone tried to articulate (hinge) the control arm on a Haas TM1? Some of the things I want to do require that the control moves out of the way. Not necessarily further out but away from the machine.

On ebay there was a product that added about a foot of 4x4 tubing. That tube was connected to the stock tube by another black bearing. It also lowered the pendant about 5.5in. Not sure if there is enough wire inside the cabinet. Seemed to be handy for setup.

Do you remember what they called it. Having trouble searching for it.

If you need longer cables, I just ordered any special ones from Haas for a VF6. Not to expensive either.

Find yourself a Haas GR510 gantry router to look at; they have an articulated arm supporting the control. You might be able to do an adaptation using parts from this.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.

@JCP: I dont think it was a high production product. Just a section of square tubing 4 bolt holes and maybe 1.5in hole for the wires and the Haas parts to spin the pendant
