I am having issues with getting the correct settings or wiring to be able to control my spindle from mach3, I have the 4 axis plug and play nema 23 system with a smooth stepper and the vfd is a Huanyang HY02D223B and the spindle that came with it is 2.2kw water cooled. I can turn on the spindle in mach but it just ramps up to 24000 rpm no matter what I input into mach. I have a total of four wires connecting the BOB to the VFD, and I do not have any pots connected to the VFD either. I am not sure where I went wrong, can somebody lend me a hand?

I'm not familiar with the BOB used in CNCRP Nema 23 PnP, but have you tried to measure the signal with a multimeter as you adjust the speed? This is of course assuming you're using a 0-10V PWM signal. This would be the first step to trouble shooting. A couple other things to check in Mach3 would be the PWM setting in smoothstepper plugin and the PWM settings under Ports and Pins, Spindle Setup. Not much help, but you haven't provided enough details of exactly what you've done so it's difficult to trouble shoot. Good luck!
