    asking about MACH3 software

    First i'm a collegian in Thailand. I have a project for graduated and have a 4 months left
    I want to know .Is the mach3 can run on laptop intel core i-5 with OS WIN7 74bit
    Can anyone help me maybe give me the resource for understaning it(flame2)

    Hi , you can install Match 3 in your computer but if you want use your paralell port it doesn't work.
    Match 3 with pararell port only work with XP + 32 bits.
    I had that problem and I had to change to Linux - CNC.

    The Mach3 parallel port driver does not work in Windows 8 or any 64 bit OS.

    If you want to use your laptop, you'll need to use an enternal USB or ethernet motion controller.
    The UC100 and Pokeys are probably your cheapest options.
