Hi!

I would like to measure TLO (tool length offset) for a countersink tool such as this:

As you can see, it has a liitle flat surface at the end. But what I need is to measure to imaginary pointy tip. How would I do that?

It would be the diameter * 0.5751842

It works just for types of countersink which has pointy tip, like this:

Heavy Duty Countersink Bit 13 mm, Architectural Ironmongery, SDS London

In that case, measure the diameter at the bottom of the flutes and * by 0.5751842, then add to your TLO

Yes, I know, this is what I do as well, but measures are very rough.
